Silva Kaputikyan House-museum
The beloved poetess Silva Koputikyan herself decided to turn her house into a museum. According to her instructions, part of the rooms had to remain unchanged, she installed the exhibits with her own hands and gave explanations. Museum was founded in 2003.
At the exhibition of the museum, you can see the relics brought from Van, among which the metal basin, the carpet woven by the grandmother, the suede coat sewn by the poet's hand, etc. are very favorite. Silva Kaputikyan loved to sew clothes when she was young, and that sewing machine is also kept here.
One can also see personal items used by the poetess: bag, watch, fan and gifts she received from famous people.
